12/23/13 - PLAYERS TO WATCH: QB Tyler Tettleton finished the year with 2,623 passing yards and 20 touchdowns, as compared to nine interceptions. The three-year starter has a 24-13 record, and there's nothing the Pirates can throw at him that he hasn't seen before. - The Sports Xchange
10/26/13 - Tyler Tettleton and Donte Foster proved a dynamic duo as Tettleton found Foster for three touchdowns and Ohio defeated Miami (Ohio) 41-16 Saturday. Tettleton threw for 306 yards, barreling past an 8,000 career yards milestone in passing after only needing three before the matchup. All three of his TD passes went to Foster as the Bobcats (6-2, 3-1 MAC) took a 21-10 lead at halftime. Foster finished with a game-high eight receptions for 122 yards.

Beau Blankenship ran for 172 yards to help Ohio amass 536 yards of total offense, dominating the 240 for the RedHawks in comparison. Austin Boucher threw a 22-yard TD pass to Dustin White midway through the second quarter and led Miami (Ohio) (0-8, 0-4) in rushing with 13 carries for 22 yards. 10/21/13 - WEEK 8 MAC EAST DIVISION OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ohio QB Tyler Tettleton...Ohio quarterback Tyler Tettleton (Norman, Okla.) was 23-of-30 passing for a career-high 375 yards as he led the Bobcats to a 56-28 win at Eastern Michigan. He also threw a career-best four touchdowns in the win. Tettleton’s four touchdown passes marked the eighth time in his career in which he has thrown three-or-more touchdown passes in a single game. It also marked the sixth time in his career in which he has thrown for over 300 yards. - MAC football
10/19/13 - Tyler Tettleton threw for 375 yards and four touchdowns, two in a 21-point burst in the final 5 minutes of the third quarter, as Ohio pulled away for a 56-28 win over Eastern Michigan in an emotionally charged game on Saturday. Eastern Michigan, a day after starting receiver Demarius Reed was found shot to death, gave the heavily-favored Bobcats (5-2, 2-1 Mid-American Conference) fits behind Bronson Hill, who ran for 257 yards and a touchdown.

After the Eagles (1-6, 0-3) tied the game at 21, they were driving for the go-ahead score when Devin Bass picked off Tyler Benz in the end zone. On the next play Tettleton connected with Chase Cochran for an 80-yard touchdown. Tettleton finished three yards short of becoming the first Ohio quarterback with 8,000 passing yards. Tyler Allen took the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown for Eastern Michigan. - AP Sports
