No, Iím not going to run. I pulled my hamstring about 2Ĺ weeks ago training.
Iím going to do bench though. Ö will run at LSUís Pro Day March 14.
(what are popular questions from teams?)
about making adjustments in the secondary, being quarterback of the defense, how different is
it going to be without playing with LaRon (Landry) after four years.
(what do you think are teamsí biggest concerns?)
Some of them underestimate my speed, they donít think
Iím fast enough. So Iíll show them when I run the 40 at Pro Day.
(what do you think theyíre most impressed with?)
They think Iím very intelligent. I know football and learn quick.
(was it a benefit to play in Nick Sabanís defense at LSU?)
Absolutely. Because he ran an NFL-based defense. And also Coach Bo Pelini,
who coached in the league for a long time, ran an NFL defense. And they know I did well in that.
(where do you hope to be drafted?)
Hopefully the first day. Thatís all Iím hoping for. If I run a good time, hopefully Iíll be
satisfied and I can go the first day. But if not, then Iíll take whatever I can get.
(where have you been training?)
Here in Indianapolis at St. Vincent Sports Performance Center.
(how do you describe your game?)
Physical. I try not to memorize a lot, I just try to know the concepts.
I just want them to see me as I was at LSU I was the quarterback of the defense.
(goal for the 40)
I would like to run around 4.48 or 4.49, somewhere around there. But a 4.5, Iíll deal with a 4.5.
(what teams have you talked to so far)
The Lions, Cincinnati, the Jets, a few teams.
