Draft Scout Snapshot: 2014 NFL DRAFT BEST VALUE PICK: MIAMI DOLPHINS: Round 2/63 -- Jarvis Landry, WR, 5-11, 205, Louisiana State...Landry is regarded as a go-get-it receiver. He said he s played the slot as well as the outside position, so he should get on the field plenty. Landry isn't a speedy receiver, but he is tough and possesses good hands. - The Sports Xchange

*Jarvis Landry TSX Player News Log
02/20/18 - WR Jarvis Landry had the Dolphins' franchise tag placed on him. Landry topped the NFL with a team-record 112 receptions for 987 yards (8.8 avg.) and a career-high nine receiving touchdowns last season. The three-time Pro Bowler has totaled 400 receptions for 4,038 yards (10.1 avg.) and 22 touchdown catches for his career. His 400 receptions are the most for any player in his first four NFL seasons.
01/25/18 - WR Jarvis Landry told reporters on Thursday that his contract negotiations are progressing, albeit slowly. The pace actually is an improvement, as Landry told the Miami Herald last week that he hadn't heard from the team since his counteroffer to the club in the middle of December. The 25-year-old Landry even went so far as to label the team's process as "disrespectful" at the time. "They're moving. They're moving slowly, but they're moving," Landry said after practice ahead of the Pro Bowl.
01/17/18 - WR Jarvis Landry isn't pleased with playing the waiting game in regard to contract talks with the Miami Dolphins. "From the offer process until this point was disrespectful," Landry told the Miami Herald. "I tried to handle it the right way and figured if a team values you and wants you to be a part of the team, why haven't they answered in the past month?"
01/09/18 - WR Jarvis Landry was named to the AFC Pro Bowl roster on Tuesday as an injury replacement for Houston's DeAndre Hopkins. Landry led the NFL with a career-high 112 receptions but came up 13 yards shy of reaching 1,000 for the third consecutive season. It marked the third straight Pro Bowl selection for Landry, who has 400 receptions in his four seasons. A calf injury forced Hopkins to sit out the regular-season finale.
01/05/18 - WR Jarvis Landry was fined $48,620 apiece by the NFL for his actions in Sunday's game against Buffalo. Landry was ejected for his part in a fight during Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills. The altercation came after Landry had scored on a 1-yard run. Earlier this week, Dolphins coach Adam Gase said Landry's actions were "embarrassing," and said it would be a consideration when deciding whether to re-sign Landry.
01/04/18 - WR Jarvis Landry's actions this past weekend did not please coach Adam Gase. "I don't think I've ever seen it get to a level where it was extremely bad," Gase said, via ESPN. "But the last game was about as embarrassing as I've seen in a long time. It was something we can't have happen."
01/03/18 - WR Jarvis Landry (112 receptions, 987 yards, 9 TDs) established a franchise-best for receptions and a career-best for TDs.
01/01/18 - WR Jarvis Landry seemed to instigate a wild scene in the final minutes of the fourth quarter Sunday. Landry, who led the NFL and broke his own team record with 112 catches this season, scored on a 1-yard shovel pass with 6:16 left. After scoring, Landry charged toward Bills S Jordan Poyer, and their helmets crashed. A melee ensued, and Dolphins RB Kenyan Drake flung a Bills helmet. Landry, who was ejected along with Drake, said he was merely reacting after Poyer put his hands around his neck. "I didn't disrespect the official," Landry said. "I regret putting my teammates in a bad spot. But I do have a career to protect."
01/01/18 - WR Jarvis Landry led the NFL with 112 receptions. Landry was the only player in the league with at least five receptions in every game. Landry broke the franchise record for receptions (110) he established in 2015.
12/27/17 - WR Jarvis Landry, who is in the final year of his contract, said he'd like to return to the Dolphins. "Of course," he said. "I love Miami. My family's here in Miami. The fan base is here in Miami. "The relationships, this building, this organization, I want to be here. I've always believed in being a guy that plays for one team. With that, I hope that opportunity presents itself. But obviously getting what you deserve and everything, this is what I work for. So we'll see."
