12/28/16 - LB Leonard Floyd (concussion) is in the league protocol and did not practice Wednesday due to the injury suffered on Saturday against Washington. Defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said Floyd was somewhat incoherent a few plays after leaving the field and team medical personnel were alerted to his condition.
12/26/16 - LB Leonard Floyd (concussion) left Saturday's game and Monday there was no word on his medical condition other than a statement that he is in the NFL concussion protocol. It is Floyd's second concussion in five weeks.
12/05/16 - LB Leonard Floyd (concussion) passed the NFL protocol and played. He had two sacks and a safety.
11/30/16 - LB Leonard Floyd (concussion) is still in the league protocol after his concussion two weeks ago in New York. However, Floyd practiced Wednesday without contact on a limited basis and is likely to be questionable for Sunday's game.
11/28/16 - LB Lenoard Floyd (concussion) has not yet cleared the NFL protocol and will continue to be observed this week.
11/27/16 - LB Leonard Floyd (concussion) and LG Josh Sitton (ankle) did not play Sunday against Tennessee.
11/24/16 - LB Leonard Floyd (concussion) suffered an injury against the Giants that required he be taken to a hospital. Floyd did not practice Wednesday and is in the league concussion protocol.
11/21/16 - LB Leonard Floyd sustained a neck injury in the second half and was taken to a local hospital for further observation. "In some of his movement, things looked good, encouraging, but he's going through the necessary steps," Bears coach John Fox said.
11/21/16 - OLB Leonard Floyd sustained a scary-looking neck injury in the fourth quarter Sunday. Floyd was injured in a pileup on a run by Giants RB Rashad Jennings. The rookie laid in a heap in the middle of the field after the play, with trainers rushing to his assistance. He remained down until the trainers were able to stabilize his neck and load him onto a backboard which was then loaded onto a cart.
10/21/16 - OLB Leonard Floyd scored his first NFL touchdown on a strip sack of Aaron Rodgers and a fumble recovery in the end zone. This year's first-round draft pick, Floyd had missed the previous two games due to a calf injury.
