12/05/16 - QB Paxton Lynch, making his second career start in place of injured regular Trevor Siemian, was held to 12-of-24 passing for 104 yards as the two defenses battled throughout the game. He didn't throw a touchdown but didn't commit a turnover either as the Broncos beat the Jaguars at Jacksonville.
Lynch attended high school at Trinity Christian Academy in Deltona, Fla., which is less than two hours south of Jacksonville. "It was exciting to come back in front of my family and friends, too, with them being able to watch me start in the NFL," Lynch said. "I played with most of them growing up, too. It was a special moment to go out there and get my first win as a starter."

10/09/16 - QB Paxton Lynch's first career start did not go as well as he hoped but the struggles were not all of his own making. Starting for the injured Trevor Siemian, Lynch struggled to get on track and didn't get the Broncos into the end zone until connecting with Demaryius Thomas in the late going in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Falcons. Lynch completed 23 of 35 for 223 yards. He also had an interception and was sacked six times. "I think I was well-prepared," Lynch said. "But overall as a team we didn't play as well as we should have to win the game, and we didn't."
10/08/16 - QB Paxton Lynch will start at quarterback on Sunday when the Denver Broncos put their unbeaten record on the line against the visiting Atlanta Falcons. It will be the first career start for Lynch, who replaced an injured Trevor Siemian in the second quarter of last Sunday's 27-7 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
10/02/16 - QB Paxton Lynch, Denver's first-round pick out of Memphis, came in and played well after Trevor Siemian got hurt. He completed passes of 16 and 18 yards in the final 90 seconds of the first half to set up a late field goal and a 17-7 halftime lead. Lynch added a touchdown in the fourth quarter, and he finished 14 of 24 for 170 yards, playing mistake-free football on a night when the Bucs committed three turnovers, leading to 17 Broncos points. "I thought he handled himself well," Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said. "He made some big third downs for us."
09/02/16 - QB Paxton Lynch finished the preseason with an 86.5 rating. He threw 68 passes, more than all but seven quarterbacks league-wide, and completed 59 percent of his throws, going 40-of-69 for 458 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.
