11/03/17 - LB Kendell Beckwith was limited with a knee injury on Thursday.
10/30/17 - LB Kendell Beckwith had an MRI exam on his knee that was negative after suffering an injury Sunday night. Beckwith had ACL surgery a year ago.
10/01/17 - LB Kendell Beckwith was moved to MLB and called the defensive signals.
09/27/17 - LB Kendell Beckwith faced long odds being ready to play in September after tearing his ACL in a game against Florida last November. Not only did he make it to training camp, 10 months later he has earned a starting job at strong-side linebacker. But an injury to middle linebacker Kwon Alexander has even elevated his role. Beckwith is the backup middle linebacker. He started Sunday's game at Minnesota and had eight tackles, including six solo. After the injury to Lavonte David, Beckwith was given the helmet communicator. On Sunday against the Giants, Beckwith will be getting the calls from defensive coordinator Mike Smith and responsible for getting players lined up against Eli Manning. "Nothing surprises me about Kendell,'' head coach Dirk Koetter said.
09/21/17 - LB Kendell Beckwith took reps at middle linebacker again Thursday with the No. 1 defense.
09/20/17 - LB Kendell Beckwith took reps with the first-team defense at middle linebacker Wednesday.
09/18/17 - LB Kendell Beckwith moved over from strong-side linebacker to middle linebacker Sunday, replacing injured Kwon Alexander. He finished with five tackles.
09/06/17 - LB Kendell Beckwith, the third-round pick from LSU, has won the job over Devante Bond at strong-side linebacker.
08/12/17 - LB Kendell Beckwith had five tackles Friday and will get reps with the first team at strong side linebacker.
08/01/17 - LB Kendell Beckwith is playing fast again only eight months after tearing his ACL. Beckwith, the Bucs third-round pick from LSU, suffered the injury in a game Nov. 19 against the Florida Gators. Bucs coach Dirk Koetter said Beckwith looked like he was feeling his way a bit during two days of rookie workouts last week. But since training camp practices began, he has improved dramatically. "You know, Kendell is really amazing because it's only been eight months since his ACL and very few guys come back that fast," Koetter said. "The first couple days we were out here at rookie practice, before the throng of fans and media were out here, Kendell, I was a little nervous. Not about his knee. He looked rusty. He's probably our most improved player as far as where he started and where he is after four practices."
