*Myles Jack TSX Player News Log
11/17/16 - LB Myles Jack continues to draw rave reviews for catching Houston running back Lamar Miller from behind at the 1-yard line after Miller had gained 45 yards on a play. "It wasn't that Myles was chasing some big guy or even someone with average speed," head coach Gus Bradley said. "When you see big guys running catching someone from behind, that was big. That caught all of our eyes."
11/10/16 - LB Myles Jack was at practice on Thursday on a limited basis. He missed Wednesday's practice with a hip injury.
11/09/16 - OLB Myles Jack did not practice Wednesday because of a hip injury.
11/07/16 - LB Myles Jack suffered a second-half hip injury and did not return.
11/03/16 - LB Myles Jack returned to practice Thursday as a full participant after missing Wednesday's practice with illness. He is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Chiefs in Kansas City.
10/19/16 - LB Myles Jack will get his third consecutive start at the OTTO linebacker spot over veteran Dan Skuta.
10/17/16 - LB Myles Jack received his second start at the Otto linebacker spot on Sunday ahead of veteran Dan Skuta, who returned to the lineup for the first time in three games. The pair will likely battle for starting honors the rest of the season.
10/03/16 - LB Myles Jack got his first NFL start on Sunday at the OTTO linebacker spot, a position he had not practiced since the Jaguars drafted him early in the second round in this year's college draft. Jack had been working mostly at the middle backer and weak-side LB spot. Jack was credited with four tackles in his first start.
09/19/16 - LB Myles Jack saw his most extensive play on defense in the San Diego game on Sunday, replacing middle linebacker Paul Posluszny for most of the fourth quarter. Coach Gus Bradley said Jack is making progress and will likely see more action on defense.
09/12/16 - LB Myles Jack had a relatively quiet day despite performing so well in the preseason games. Jack was not credited with any tackles against Green Bay. "We had him at the Will linebacker spot in the Atlanta game, the last preseason game. We are trying to do everything we can to speed this process up to see where he is at," Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said.
