10/25/16 - OLB Dekoda Watson was evaluated for a possible concussion, but Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said Watson was "fine" after undergoing the evaluation and is expected to practice this week.
09/02/16 - OLB Dekoda Watson appears set for the 53-man roster after being held out of Thursday's preseason loss at Arizona. Watson led the Broncos with four sacks this preseason and also should have a multi-faceted role on special teams.
08/31/16 - OLB Dekoda Watson leads the Broncos with four sacks this preseason, twice as many as the next two on the list (Vontarrius Dora and Sadat Sulleyman). Watson has carved out a role on special teams and appears to be in good shape to make the roster, even though he is listed as a third-teamer at the deep outside linebacker position.

05/16/16 - LB Dekoda Watson, an unrestricted free agent, was signed by the Broncos. The 6-2, 240-pound Watson is a seventh-year player who appeared in 73 career regular-season games (seven starts) and four postseason contests with Tampa Bay (2010-13), Jacksonville (2014), Dallas (2014) and New England (2015). Watson was selected by the Buccaneers in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft out of Florida State. Watson's career totals include 82 defensive tackles, three sacks, one interception, four passes defensed, two forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries. He also owns 39 career special teams tackles. Watson, 28, played for the Patriots last season, appearing in three regular-season games and both playoff contests. He combined to play in 10 games (one start) for Jacksonville and Dallas in 2014 following four seasons with the Bucs.
12/31/15 - LB Dekoda Watson was re-signed Dec. 29, filling the roster spot opened with the release of RB Joey Iosefa a day earlier. Watson spent training camp in New England and was on the roster earlier this year.

09/17/15 - LB Dekoda Watson, who had his contract terminated by the Patriots on Monday (Aug. 31), was re-signed Wednesday (Sept. 16).
08/31/15 - LB Dekoda Watson was released by the Patriots on Monday. Watson, 27, signed with the Patriots in May. In 70 NFL games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2010-13), Jacksonville Jaguars (2014) and Dallas Cowboys (2014), he has tallied 120 tackles, three sacks, one interception, two forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries.
