11/27/12 - NT Josh Chapman and DT Fili Moala officially had their 2012 seasons come to an end as the Colts placed both on injured reserve Tuesday. Chapman was activated from the physically unable to perform list Nov. 12, but was inactive the past two weeks as the Colts evaluated to see if the rookie from Alabama had recovered enough from a knee injury to play this season.

11/15/12 - NT Josh Chapman will be a game-time decision on whether he will play against the Patriots on Sunday. The rookie from Alabama, who had knee surgery in January, was added to the active roster earlier this week. He has been practicing with the team for the previous three weeks but was held out of Thursday's workout.
"It's just a matter of if he is healthy and is he the next best player we have to dress on Sunday," interim coach Bruce Arians said.

10/31/12 - NT Josh Chapman (knee) is in his second week of practice as a member of the reserved/physically unable to perform list. No decision is expected this week on Chapman's chances of playing next week at New England.
10/24/12 - NT Josh Chapman is ready to begin practicing with the team. Indianapolis' fifth-round draft pick will remain on the reserve/non-football-injury list for now.
Team officials will have up to three weeks from Wednesday to elevate Chapman -- who suffered a knee injury as a senior at Alabama last season and underwent surgery in January -- to the 53-man active roster. Otherwise, he would remain on the reserve/non-football-injury list for the rest of the season. He has not practiced with the team since being drafted.
10/17/12 - NT Josh Chapman continues to come along in his rehab from January knee surgery. Chapman was the Colts' fifth-round draft pick last spring. He underwent knee surgery to repair ligament damage suffered during his senior season at Alabama. Chapman has been on the team's physically unable to perform list since the start of training camp. A decision will have to be made in the next couple of weeks as to whether he will be able to start practicing or to just wait until next spring.
