01/13/16 - LB A.J. Klein (hamstring), who left the season finale because of a tweaked hamstring, returned to practice. He will play Sunday.
01/11/16 - LB A.J. Klein (hamstring), who was injured in the third quarter of the regular-season finale, should be ready to return this week.
01/04/16 - LB A.J. Klein (hamstring) is in danger of missing the Panthers' playoff opener. Coach Ron Rivera called the injury Klein suffered Sunday "more week-to-week."
10/22/15 - LB A.J. Klein (concussion) practiced in full Wednesday, but he still needs to pass tests from a independent doctor before he's cleared.
10/19/15 - LB A.J. Klein (concussion), who stayed home Sunday, is still in the NFL's protocol. The Panthers are hopeful he'll be cleared by Wednesday's practice.
10/16/15 - LB A.J. Klein has been ruled out by the Panthers for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Klein suffered a concussion against Tampa Bay and has been in the league's protocol. He practiced on a limited basis this week, but did not receive final clearance from the independent neurologist. Klein replaced Luke Kuechly in the starting lineup for three weeks.
10/14/15 - LB A.J. Klein (concussion) made a surprise appearance as a limited participant on Wednesday's injury report. He suffered a previously unreported concussion against the Bucs in Week 4. Klein is currently in the NFL's concussion protocol and scheduled to meet with an independent neurologist.
09/21/15 - LB A.J. Klein, who was starting in place of Luke Kuechly, had his first career interception
09/20/15 - LB A.J. Klein received rave reviews for stepping up to a starting role in place of LB Luke Kuechly, who sat out after sustaining a concussion a week earlier. Klein's exploits involved directing the defense from the middle linebacker spot. He had a fourth-quarter interception and also posted four tackles.
09/14/15 - LB A.J. Klein had a career-high six tackles. Five came after LB Luke Kuechly left the game because of a concussion.
