 Latest Ravens Player Notes
Nov 19 2009 - Billy Cundiff
PK Billy Cundiff understands that he will face pressure kicks. He also understands he must deal with the pressure of replacing Matt Stover, who returns to face his former team Sunday with the Indianapolis Colts. The Ravens cut Steve Hauschka this week because he was unable to fill the void left by Stover. Now, it has become Cundiff's job to do it. "He did a lot of really good things," Cundiff said. "To be quite honest with you, there are a lot of guys around the league that have done very similar things and the guy that comes in after them, they always have the same thing to deal with. So I think it's good, because if you have the bar set really high, you obviously have got to raise your game to make sure you meet that. If you're not willing to accept that challenge, then you're in the wrong business. This is a very pressure-driven business, and you've got to enjoy it."

Nov 19 2009 - Joe Flacco
QB Joe Flacco is on the injury report for the second time this season. He had a foot issue earlier this season. Flacco has had full practices this week and will start.

Nov 19 2009 - Matt Birk
C Matt Birk was added Thursday to the injury report with a neck injury. He had a full practice and will start.

Nov 19 2009 - Haloti Ngata
DT Haloti Ngata (ankle) seems ready to start for the first time in three games. He has been limited this week in practice but he has not been limping.

Nov 19 2009 - Todd Heap
TE Todd Heap (chest) has missed practice Wednesday and Thursday but offensive coordinator Cam Cameron said he expects Heap to play. But L.J. Smith could see increased time with Heap hurting.

Nov 19 2009 - Paul Kruger

Nov 19 2009 - Terrell Suggs
LB-DE Terrell Suggs (knee sprain) said he plans to return this season. There is a slim chance that he could come back next week to play the Steelers. Paul Kruger will start in his place.

S Marcus Paschal signed with Baltimore's practice squad.

Nov 18 2009 - Terrell Suggs
LB Terrell Suggs has been ruled out for Sunday's game with a right knee sprain. He was injured on a low hit by Cleveland quarterback Brady Quinn on an interception return Monday night. "He's out this week, that's the ruling that we know," Baltimore coach John Harbaugh said. "It's got to heal on its own. There is no procedure that can be done. We'll just see how it goes." Suggs declined to speak to reporters as he limped down the hallway from the locker room to the lunchroom wearing a heavy brace on his knee. When teammate Ray Rice asked Suggs how he was doing, the linebacker just shook his head. There is a possibility that Suggs could miss between two to three weeks. Suggs likely will be replaced by rookie second-round pick Paul Kruger, though Kruger has yet to be told by Harbaugh.

Nov 18 2009 - Billy Cundiff
PK Billy Cundiff has been signed to replace waived Steven Hauschka, according to a report by ESPN. Cundiff, a six-year veteran, has played for Dallas and Cleveland and worked out for Baltimore last week.

Nov 17 2009 - Ray Rice
RB Ray Rice scored a touchdown for the fifth straight game. For the past two weeks, he has accounted for both of the Ravens' offensive touchdowns.

Nov 17 2009 - Lardarius Webb
CB Lardarius Webb registered his first NFL sack, tackling Brady Quinn for a loss midway through the second quarter. Webb, a rookie, also downed a punt deep in Browns territory before the first half ended.

Nov 17 2009 - Haruki Nakamura
S Haruki Nakamura, a special teams player, broke his right ankle on the opening kickoff at Cleveland, which is his hometown. It likely ends his season.

Nov 15 2009 - Derrick Mason
