• Started and had career best two PBR's, one sack, one TFL and four tackles vs. CSU (11/05)

• Started and had six tackles including 1.0 for loss vs. Nevada (10/29)

• Started and had six tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss and pass deflection at Fresno State (10/15)

• Started and had five tackles and first sack this season vs. UNLV (10/7)

• Started and had four tackles plus one QB hit at Wyoming (10/01)

2021:

• Appeared in all 12 games 

• Season-high of 11 tackles at Colorado State (10/9)

• Tallied five tackles and batted down one pass at Hawai'i (9/18)

• Tied for second most tackles for the season (72)

2020: 

• Started the first seven games of the year

• Only player on the team to record a quarterback sack, intercept a pass, force a fumble and recover a fumble during the season

• Led the team with two interceptions and two fumble recoveries

• Finished tied for 12th nationally and shared the Mountain West lead with his fumble recoveries against Air Force (10/24) and Nevada (12/11)

• Third on the team with 41 total tackles and tied for third with 29 solo stops

• Made at least three tackles in every game he played

• Named Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week for the week of November 7th after recording career-best nine tackles, a quarterback sack, a forced fumble and an interception in the San Jose State end zone against San Diego State (11/6)

• One of three players honored on the Paycom Jim Thorpe Player of the Week list for his performance against the Aztecs

2019:

• Appeared in all 12 games

• Credited with seven tackles with a tackle in six games

• Season-high two stops both on kickoffs in the Arkansas win (9/21)

2018:

• Played in the final three games of the season

• Scored a touchdown on his first play of his major college career at Utah State (11/10) picking up a botched Aggie punt attempt and racing 51 total yards to the end zone untouched

• Became the first Spartan in three years with a punt return for a touchdown

• Was not in on any tackles either on defense or special teams

• Retained his first season of athletics eligibility

HIGH SCHOOL:

• A two-time Stockton Record All-Area and all-league honoree for St. Mary's High in Stockton, Calif. (Coach Tony Franks)

• A third-team all-state football pick by CalHiSports.com and one of five finalists for the Stockton Record's 2016-17 Male Athlete of the Year

• Second-team all-league choice in basketball as a junior... Ran on the 4x100 meter relay team that finished ninth at the 2018 C.I.F. State Championship meet

PERSONAL

 

A justice studies major ...  Learned to play chess in the third grade ... Son of Aaron Jenkins, Jr., a running back for the University of Washington who rushed for a touchdown against San Jose State in the Huskies' 35-31 comeback win on September 24, 1988 ... Grandfather, Aaron Jenkins, averaged 14.9 points a game for the 1969 and 1970 Iowa State Cyclones basketball teams ... Twin brother Andrew is a senior on the 2023 San José State football team ... Is the older of the two twins ... He is a Stockton, Calif., native.
