HISTORY — from college profile

2023 (rs sr): Britton announced in January that he was transferring from Western Kentucky to Auburn University. Made 17 career starts at WKU from 2019-22.

2022 (rs jr): Britton started all 14 games for the Hilltoppers in 2022, helping the team to a 9-5 record and victory in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl...His first-six starts of the season came a right tackle, but an injury forced him to move to left tackle for the remainder of the season...Helped lead an offensive line unit that gave up only 14 sacks on the season. That mark was 10th best in all of college football, and second in Conference USA...Named All-Conference USA Second Team at season's end. 

2021 (rs soph.): Britton played in 13 of WKU's 14 games during the team's run to a Conference USA East Division Championship...Britton was tasked with protecting C-USA MVP and NCAA record-setting quarterback Bailey Zappe...As an offensive line unit, Britton and the rest of the Tops allowed only 17 sacks on the season, which was 12th best in college football and second best within Conference USA. 

2020 (rs soph.): Britton appeared in all 12 games, starting two on Sept. 12 at Louisville and on Oct. 10 vs. Marshall as a sixth offensive lineman...Played 52 total offensive snaps, 41 of which as a sixth offensive lineman...Had a season-high 14 snaps against the Cardinals, while adding 10 against the Thundering Herd and 10 on Dec. 6 at Charlotte...Saw time on multiple special teams units. He will retain his redshirt sophomore year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 (redshirt fr): Britton appeared in all-but-one game for the Hilltoppers, starting the first two games of the season at left tackle...Played 139 total offensive snaps, including 50 in the season-opener on Aug. 29 vs. Central Arkansas and 29 on Sept. 7 at FIU...Earned a 68.5 overall blocking grade by PFF College’s Premium Stats...Saw time on multiple special teams units and blocked an extra point on Nov. 9 at Arkansas, it was WKU's first blocked extra point since Julien Lewis on Nov. 26, 2016, at Marshall...Conference USA All-Freshman Team.

2018 (fr): Britton redshirted his first season on The Hill.

High school: Britton played for head coach Chuck Jordan at Conway High School (Conway, SC)...Team captain on the football team and played baseball for two years...Played for South Carolina in the 2017 Shrine Bowl against the North Carolina All-Stars...Was a two-time All-State selection...Helped lead the Tigers to 364 yards and 34 points per game this past year...Rated as a two-star with a 77 composite score by 247Sports, ranking 51st overall in the state and 218th nationally at his position.
