Apple Valley went 8-3 in 2012 after winning just one game in 2011 to qualify for the state playoffs for the first time in 19 years

won the starting left tackle spot as a junior and helped quarterback Tommy Singer set school records for passing yardage and touchdown passes

played basketball for the Eagles which defeated Park Center 74-57 in the 2012-13 Class 4A title game

also competed in track and field.
