UPDATES

Week 8: DNP

Week 7: DNP — Egbuka did not play in Ohio State's 41-7 win over Purdue because of injury. — JH

Week 6: In Ohio State's 37-17 win over previously unbeaten Maryland, Egbuka caught three passes in four targets for 40 yards (13.3 average). Of bigger concern was the "lower body injury" the big receiver suffered in the second half, forcing him to leave the game after playing 33 snaps. — JH

Week 5: DNP — bye week

Week 4: In Ohio State's dramatic win over Notre Dame, 17-14, Egbuka picked up the slack for Marvin Harrison Jr., who had an ankle injury in the second half. Egbuka was targeted 11 times and had a team-high seven catches for 96 yards (13.7 YPC). As has been the case all year, the wideout did a lot of damage after the catch, with a third of his receiving yardage coming after the ball was in his hands. He also graded out well in run-blocking. The receiver did have one drop, his first of the season. — JH

Week 3: Even though in on about half of the number of passing plays (16) as in each of the prior two games, Egbuka still managed to haul in four passes for 57 yards and two touchdowns, helping Ohio State crush Western Kentucky, 63-10. As was the case against Youngstown State in Week 2, the powerful receiver did a lot of damage following the completion, racking up 33 yards after the catch. — JH

Week 2: Targeted eight times, Egbuka caught five balls for 94 yards and one TD in Ohio State's 35-7 victory. Again operating mostly as a slot receiver, Egbuka showcased his YAC skills, racking up 66 of his receiving yards after the catch, and took a wide receiver screen to the house from 28 yards out, his longest reception of the day. — JH

Week 1: Egbuka was targeted four times, catching three passes for just 16 yards as Ohio State took down Indiana, 23-3, in the season opener for both teams. The wide receiver lined up mostly in the slot (23 times in 32 pass plays). He had a very good day run blocking. — JH

Week 0: DNP
