Week 0: Williams pulled in two catches for 26 yards and no TDs in USC's 56-28 home-opener win over San Jose State. Williams operated out of the slot most of the night (22 of 23 pass plays). One of his receptions went for 23 yards, but he also had a drop. The night belonged to others in USC's stocked wide receiver corps, with Tajh Washington, Dorian Singer, and freshman Zachariah Branch each catching a TD from QB Caleb Williams, who threw four TDs overall.

2022 (soph): Saw action in 12 games (all but California and Colorado) with 9 starts during his first season with the Trojans in 2022. He caught 40 passes (3rd for USC) for 631 yards (15.8 avg) with 5 TDs (3rd for USC). Williams also fielded 2 kickoff returns for a total of 7 yards. Had two receptions for 43 yards against Rice. He recorded four catches for 74 yards and a TD at Stanford. Posted six catches for 77 yards against Fresno State. Collected one catch for 22 yards at Oregon State and had five catches for 50 yards and a TD against Arizona State. Tallied 4 catches for 82 yards and 2 TDs against Washington State. He had four catches for 145 yards at Utah and had 1 catch for 15 yards at UCLA.
