Week 5: As in the weeks leading up to Michigan's 45-7 win over Nebraska, Colson was used primarily in coverage on passing plays against the 'Huskers. The LB allowed two receptions in coverage for nine total yards. He was credited with two solo tackles and two assisted stops. He didn't record a QB pressure on the two times he rushed Northwestern QB Ben Bryant. — JH

Week 4: In Michigan's 31-7 thumping of Rutgers, Colson was in on six tackles. On passing plays, he dropped into coverage on two-thirds (14) of those snaps, allowing one catch for 10 yards. He didn't record a sack or QB pressure in the seven times he rushed the passer. — JH

Week 3: Colson logged a season-high 44 snaps against Bowling Green, recording five solo tackles and two assisted tackles in the Wolverines' 31-6 win. The LB also had one hit on the Falcons' quarterback. — JH

Week 2: Playing 32 snaps, Colson had one hurry on UNLV quarterback Doug Brumfield. He was in on four tackles, helping Michigan limit the not-so-Runnin' Rebels to 61 yards rushing and a meager 2.0 yards per carry. Michigan beat UNLV handily, 35-7. — JH

Week 1: Colson played 27 total snaps and tied for the team lead with five tackles, including two tackles for loss. Michigan thumped visiting East Carolina 30-3 in the season opener for both squads. — JH
