Alex was named the outstanding offensive back for Mayfield High School after the 2002 season. He also earned that honor in 2001. In his senior year he rushed for 1,846 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also had 14 receptions for 246 yards and two touchdowns. Mayfield reached the Class 5A state title game his junior and senior seasons.
Alex was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and is majoring in Chemical Engineering.
