Started the first half of his junior season in 2006 before suffering a broken wrist after slamming it into the helmet of current LSU defensive tackle Drake Nevis

Guided Destrehan to a 6-0 record, passing for 1,666 yards, 20 touchdowns and four interceptions during his junior season
