Comparisons will be made to 2008 first-round pick Domonique Rodgers-Cromartie -- both are tall, thin and play for FCS teams. Johnson isn't quite the prospect that DRC was, although his ability warrants top-100 consideration. He transferred from Missouri after starting four games (and missing five with a knee injury) as a redshirt sophomore in 2006 because his coach reportedly questioned his dedication. A 2008 first-team All-SWAC pick, he intercepted 10 passes and deflected 27 for JSU the past two seasons. Because teams do not challenge Johnson much on the outside, he played some free safety to take advantage of his playmaking ability. Did not play his senior year in high school because he transferred from Texas City to LaMarque.
