 CAREER: Saw time in 32 games with 27 starts... Finished his career tied for sixth in school history in career sacks (20.5), while he tied for fourth in career forced fumbles (8)... The second player in school history to tally three games with 3.0 or more sacks (Nyle Wiren)... Left college football ranking fourth nationally and tops in the Big 12 among active players in forced fumbles per game (0.25), while he was sixth nationally and tops in the Big 12 in sacks per game (0.64).
 2022: Started all 14 games, coming away with 46 tackles, 11.0 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and a pass breakup... Earned Second Team All-America honors from the Walter Camp Foundation, American Football Writers Association, American Football Coaches Association and CBS Sports, while he was a third-team performer by the Associated Press... Named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year by both the league’s coaches and Associated Press, while he was also named the Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year by the coaches... Also picked up All-Big 12 First Team honors from both outlets... A finalist for the Lott IMPACT Trophy and Ted Hendricks Award, and he was a semifinalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award... Also earned votes for Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year from the coaches... Tied for the national lead in forced fumbles per game (0.46), while he ranked 11th nationally and second in the Big 12 in sacks per game (0.85)... Ranked second in the nation among sophomores in sacks to Alabama’s Will Anderson Jr... His 11.0 total sacks tied for fifth in school history overall and tied for second by a sophomore... His six total forced fumbles tied the school record... Finished fourth on the team with 52 tackles, including 14.5 tackles for loss to rank second on the team, as 27.9% of his total stops resulted in a loss... Tied a school record with 4.0 sacks against TCU, a mark that was originally set by Chris Johnson at Missouri in 2000... Had two sacks against TCU taken away due to fumbles that were recovered on K-State’s side of the original line of scrimmage...  HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Lee’s Summit under head coach Eric Thomas... Picked up first team all-state honors a senior from the Missouri Football Coaches Association (MFCA) and the Missouri state media, while he was a second-team pick by the MFCA as a junior... Earned all-district honors his final three seasons from the MFCA... Carded 184 tackles, 55 tackles for loss and 13 sacks over his three-year career... Had 77 tackles as a junior, 20 of which went for a loss... Also totaled 20 TFLs as a sophomore... Recorded five sacks as both a junior and senior.
