2024 Indianapolis Colts Draft

The INDIANAPOLIS COLTS 2024 Draft Recap

Team Needs:

CB, WR, RB, OL

Summary:

The Colts found themselves in the story lines a couple different times in the first two days of the draft. Day one, they stopped the offensive player run that had made its way through pick 14, until they broke it with the selection of Laiatu Latu with the No. 15 selection. On day two of the draft Chris Ballard found himself answering questions regarding why Adonai Mitchell was still available to them with the No. 52 selection in the second-round. On day three of the draft while fumbling through the picks. I noticed they tuned in a card for No. 151 for Jaylon Cariles, SS, Missouri. Then 13 selections later they turned in a card and selected Jalin Simpson, FS, Auburn. Is it just coincidence that two safties where selected by the same team only 13 picks apart on purpose, or is it because someone turned in a card for the wrong Jaylon/Jalin? Maybe we will find out, maybe we won't. One of the great draft mysteries I suppose.
