Former Texas QB Vince Young calls out players for lack of hustle

We are nearly 20 years removed from Texas quarterback Vince Young running into the corner of the end zone to score the game winning touchdown over USC in the national championship.
After a stint in the NFL from 2006-2014, Young is now 40-years old and is a frequent presence at Texas football events. He can typically be spotted on the sidelines of games or practices. According to Steve Sarkisian on Wednesday, Young has taken on a new role after the first practice of fall camp.
The third-year head coach revealed that the Longhorn legend was calling out players that were not hustling.
Whether the role was one he took upon himself or is one he was asked to do, clearly the 2023 squad needs to make sure they do everything on the hop when No. 10 is watching.
The Longhorns are looking to compete for their first title since Young led the program to one in 2005.
