CFB Note - Central Michigan Spalding, Devon
WR Devon Spalding has been ruled out for Saturday's season opener at Kentucky. Spalding, one of four team captains, is being shifted from running back to wide receiver this season. He was limited to only four games in 2017, rushing for 101 yards and two touchdowns on 35 carries. However, the 5-foot-11, 205-pound Spalding played in 11 games in 2016 and established career highs by rushing for 758 yards and six touchdowns.
