NFL Note - Jacksonville Jaguars Fournette, Leonard

RB Leonard Fournette scored three touchdowns and rushed for 109 yards to pace the Jacksonville Jaguars to a 45-42 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in an AFC divisional-round playoff game Sunday at Heinz Field.

"We did a nice job up front," said Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone. "We were able to get some movement and create some holes for him. I thought he was really running extremely well and hard. He was getting a lot of the extra push that we needed."

Fournette was dynamic in the first half before suffering an ankle injury after a reception late in the second quarter. He gained his 109 yards on 25 carries, but had 82 yards and two touchdowns in a first half in which the Jaguars took leads of 21-0 and 28-7.

Fournette said he hurt it slipping on ice and had to crawl off the field. Marrone checked on him at halftime "because it was the same ankle that has been bothering him before," Marrone said. "The doctor came out and said we're going to re-tape him, and he'll be ready to go. ... I came in to see him, and I said, 'How are you doing?' And he said, 'I'm ready.' And that was it. That's the only conversation I had."
