QB Walker re-signs with Colts

The Indianapolis Colts signed quarterback Phillip Walker to the practice squad on Friday and released defensive end Anthony Winbush from the practice squad. The 5-11, 216-pound Walker has had four previous stints on the Colts' practice squad this season. He went through the team's 2018 offseason program and training camp before being waived during final cuts before the season opener on Sept. 1. Walker signed a reserve/future contract with the Colts on Jan. 1, 2018 after spending the entire season 2017 on Indianapolis' practice squad. Walker was signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Temple on May 4, 2017. In his career at Temple, Walker passed for 10,668 yards and 74 touchdowns, with 44 interceptions. The 6-1, 240-pound Winbush was signed to the Colts' practice squad on November 13. He participated in the Atlanta Falcons' 2018 offseason program and training camp before being waived during final cuts on Sept.
