NFL Note - Indianapolis Colts Collins, Jalen

CB Jalen Collins was signed by the Colts to their practice squad Thursday (Nov. 15). Collins, 6-1, 203 pounds, has played in 24 career games (eight starts) with the Atlanta Falcons (2015-17) and has compiled 43 tackles (40 solo), 2.

0 tackles for loss, two interceptions and 10 passes defensed. He started three postseason contests for the Falcons and registered 18 tackles (16 solo), two passes defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Collins was originally selected by Atlanta in the second round (42nd overall) of the 2015 draft.

He was released by the Falcons in Nov. 2017 after serving a 10-game suspension for violating the league policy on performance-enhancing substances. He was recently reinstated after serving another 10-game suspension.
