NFL Note - Arizona Cardinals Gonzalez, Zane

K Zane Gonzalez was signed by the Cardinals to their practice squad Tuesday (Nov. 20). He had been waived by the Browns Sept.

17. Gonzalez (6-0, 202) played collegiately at Arizona State where he was the 2016 Lou Groza Award winner and finished as the FBS all-time leader in field goals made (96) and points by a kicker (494). The 23-year old Gonzalez kicked in 18 games with Cleveland (2017-18) after entering the league with the Browns as a seventh-round selection (224th overall) in the 2017 draft.

He connected on 17-of-25 field goals and 28 extra points during his time in Cleveland. Gonzalez set numerous Browns rookie records in 2017 including the most field goals (15) in a season and the longest field goal (54 yards) by a rookie. He kicked in two games this season with Cleveland.
