NFL Note - San Francisco 49ers Igwebuike, Godwin
S Godwin Igwebuike was claimed on waivers by the 49ers from the Buccaneers Tuesday (Nov. 27). He had been placed on waivers Monday.
Igwebuike (6-0, 212) spent the first 10 weeks of the season on Tampa Bay's practice squad, before being elevated to the active roster and playing in one game. He originally signed with the Buccaneers as an undrafted rookie free agent on April 30. He was waived by Tampa Bay on Sept.
1 and signed to the team's practice squad the following day. On Nov. 16, he was promoted to the active roster and appeared in one game prior to being waived.
