CB Dontae Johnson was signed by the Cardinals Tuesday (Nov. 27). His contract had been terminated by the Bills Oct.

Johnson (6-2, 200) is a five-year NFL veteran who has played in 64 career games (22 starts) with the 49ers (2014-17) and Bills (2018) and has 149 tackles (120 solo), two interceptions (both returned for touchdowns) and 21 passes defensed. He entered the league with the 49ers as a fourth-round selection (129th overall) in the 2014 draft out of North Carolina State.
The 26-year-old Johnson started all 16 games last season for the 49ers and set career highs with 76 tackles and seven passes defensed. Johnson spent the preseason with the Seahawks and appeared in one game this season with the Bills prior to being released. .
