S Eddie Pleasant was signed by the Packers Wednesday (Nov. 28). He had been waived by the Cardinals Nov.
13. Pleasant (5-10, 210) originally signed with the Houston Texans as an undrafted rookie free agent out of University of Oregon in 2012. In six seasons with the Texans (2012-17), he played in 78 regular-season games with one start, recording 86 tackles (67 solo), four QB hits, two tackles for a loss, 2.
5 sacks, three interceptions, 17 passes defensed, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery on defense. Pleasant added 30 tackles on special teams. He also appeared in five postseason contests for Houston.
In 2018, Pleasant was in training camp with the New England Patriots and spent a short time during the regular season with the Arizona Cardinals, appearing in one game. He will wear No. 35 for the Packers.
