NFL Team Report - Green Bay Packers</h2><br>--Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has come under rare criticism for Green Bay's offensive struggles, which are rooted in part by his 61.7 percent completion rate that is the seventh-worst in the league. "I'm a two-time all-USA Fundamental Team," Rodgers said. "I have the big helmets in my office. I don't think I need to respond about fundamentals. I mean, I drill the fundamentals. I throw how I throw. I'm not playing any different this year. It's just we're not completing as many passes percentage-wise."<p></p> --Sunday's forecast calls for a high of 35 and the potential of a couple inches of snow. The Packers are 22-4 in December home games since Mike McCarthy took over as head coach in 2006. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is 16-1 in his December home starts. Said Rodgers: "The colder the better. It's a Western United States team playing a noon Central game. I hope it gets even colder, I hope it snows. That's playing downhill for us."<p></p> --With a bunch of injuries in the secondary, the Packers signed safety Eddie Pleasant. He played in 78 games (one start) with the Texans from 2012 through 2017. He intercepted three passes, broke up 17 and added 30 tackles on special teams. This season, he spent training camp with New England and played in one game with Arizona. Said head coach Mike McCarthy of first-year general manager Brian Gutekunst: "I've really liked Brian's approach and the communication process that we have in place. I think it's evident just based on the number of veteran free agents we brought in that were able to step in and play and contribute."<p></p> BY THE NUMBERS: 10 - Touchdown receptions for WR Davante Adams. Adams, Sterling Sharpe and Hall of Famer Don Hutson are the only players in franchise history with three consecutive seasons of 10-plus touchdown receptions.
