NFL Note - Philadelphia Eagles Bradham, Nigel

LB Nigel Bradham broke his thumb in three places against the New York Giants last week. On Monday, he had surgery and had six screws inserted into his hand. He is hopeful of playing Monday night, but would need some kind of cast on his hand, which could limit his effectiveness in tackling.

"I want to be out there regardless," said Bradham. "That's my thing, always try to be available ... It's tough, tough to get off blocks and tackle. You pretty much use your hands every play so it's definitely tough, but something you have to do."

Bradham played all 61 snaps against the Giants despite breaking his thumb early in the game. He was needed with Jordan Hicks missing his first game this year with a calf injury. Hicks is likely to miss his second game this week.
