NFL Note - Arizona Cardinals Armbrister, Thurston

LB Thurston Armbrister was signed by the Cardinals from their practice squad Friday (Nov. 30). Armbrister (6-2, 239) was signed to the Cardinals practice squad on Wednesday.

He has played in 30 career games (five starts) with the Lions (2016) and Jaguars (2015) and has 27 tackles (20 solo) and 11 special teams tackles. Armbrister entered the league with Jacksonville in 2015 as an undrafted rookie free agent out of the University of Miami and played in all 16 games (three starts) as a rookie, collecting 18 tackles. The 25-year old Armbrister played in 14 games with Detroit in 2016 and spent time on the Lions practice squad in 2017.

He spent the preseason with the New York Giants, but was waived from reserve/injured on Oct. 2 after being waived/injured on Aug. 20.
