LSU football yanks away 3-star offensive lineman from Ole Miss commitment
BATON ROUGE — Three-star offensive lineman Joseph Cryer has committed to LSU football, he announced on Monday. At 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, Cryer is the No. 69 interior offensive lineman in the nation, according to 247Sports Composite.
He attends Natchitoches Central High School and is the No. 33 prospect in the state of Louisiana. Cryer had been committed to Ole Miss but backed out of his pledge on July 30.
Offensive line coach Brad Davis is Cryer's primary recruiter, according to 247Sports. Cryer also has scholarship offers from TCU, Michigan State, Mississippi State and Nebraska. Cryer is the fourth offensive lineman to commit to LSU's 2024 class, joining three-star recruits Ory Williams and Khayree Lee and four-star prospect Ethan Calloway.
He is also the 21st player to commit to LSU's 2024 class and its ninth offensive pledge. LSU had the No. 12 recruiting class in the nation prior to Cryer's commitm .
