LB Deion Jones: The club decided that Jones was not ready for game action against the Saints. He has been on the roster, but remained inactive, for the last two games. He has been working out with the team and Quinn said he was "hopeful" of Jones' return this week.

QB Joe Flacco (hip) missed his second straight game Week 12 against the Raiders. Coach John Harbaugh is uncertain whether the veteran quarterback will be able to return to practice this week. "It's too premature because he has to be cleared to practice. He has not been cleared to practice yet," Harbaugh said. Lamar Jackson got his second career start in Flacco's place and led the team to a 31-17 victory.

RB Gus Edwards made his first start in place of the injured Alex Collins (foot) and finished with 118 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries. The undrafted rookie became the first Ravens player to have consecutive 100-yard games since Justin Forsett in 2015.

LG Alex Lewis was able to start the game Week 12 against the Raiders after missing practice time with a shoulder ailment last week. He left in the third quarter because of a stinger and was placed in concussion protocol. Lewis, however, was cleared to return. -

CB Tavon Young (groin) was inactive Week 12 against the Raiders after being held out of practice last week. Young had returned to the lineup Week 11 against the Bengals after missing the previous game with an ankle injury. Young missed all of last season with a knee injury.

S Tony Jefferson had to leave the game twice Week 12 against the Raiders with an ankle injury. Afterward, he was wearing a walking boot in the locker room. Jefferson was replaced by Chuck Clark. Jefferson did not know if the injury is serious or his status moving forward.

CB Maurice Canady, who suffered a thigh injury in the opener against the Bills, was active Week 12 against the Raiders. He played 21 snaps on special teams. Canady was designated to return from IR and back at practice last week.

TE Jack Doyle was placed on injured reserve with a kidney injury, the team announced on Monday. Doyle suffered the injury during Sunday's win over the Miami Dolphins when he took a big hit in the fourth quarter. He was hospitalized as a result of the injury. WR Marvin Jones, who missed the past two games with a knee injury, has been placed on injured reserve, Lions head coach Matt Patricia announced Monday. Jones had 35 catches for 508 yards and five touchdowns in his nine games this season. Last year, Jones had 61 receptions for 1,101 yards and nine touchdowns while leading the NFL in yards per catch at 18.0.

K Zane Gonzalez was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster to replace Phil Dawson. Gonzalez was released by the Cleveland Browns on Sept. 17 after making just 2 of 5 field-goal attempts.
