OT Andre Smith was released by the Cardinals, the team announced Monday. Smith started eight games this season and was a starter in Sunday's loss to the Chargers. The Cardinals gave Smith a two-year contract in the offseason with $3.5 million in guarantees. He played in 13 games, including eight starts, for the Cincinnati Bengals last year.

QB Cody Kessler will replace Blake Bortles as the Jaguars' starting quarterback in Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts, coach Doug Marrone announced Monday. LB Terrell Suggs scored off a fumble for the first time in his 16-year career. He picked up the loose ball from Oakland quarterback Derek Carr, who was strip-sacked by linebacker Matt Judon.

LB Matt Judon became the first player to register a sack on three straight plays since Cullen Jenkins accomplished the same feat for the Packers in 2006. He had a strip-sack on Oakland quarterback Derek Carr and Terrell Suggs picked up the loose ball and ran 43 yards for the score.

QB Lamar Jackson was 14 of 25 for 178 yards with a pair of interceptions (58.4 passer rating) against Oakland.
