K Matthew McCrane was placed on waivers by the Cardinals Monday (Nov. 19). He was signed by the Cardinals Saturday because of a hip injury suffered by Phil Dawson. He kicked in Sunday's game against the Raiders, connecting on all three of his extra-point attempts.

San Francisco 49ers Onwualu, James · Nov 20, 2018

LB James Onwualu was signed by the 49ers to their practice squad Monday (Nov. 19). He had been waived from reserve/injured with an injury settlement by the Chargers Aug. 25. Onwualu (6-1, 235) originally signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted rookie free agent on May 1, 2017. He appeared in nine games and registered nine special teams tackles last season with the Chargers.
